University Project
Prompt - "Consciousness"
Type - Solo
Software Used - Unity Engine
Language - C#
Timeline - 3 Weeks
RSD is a short game made for a class final. It was the first time I ever worked on anything game related. I had to create something that fit the prompt of "consciousness," so I designed a narrative that spoke about Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria. RSD is a common occurrence in people with Neurodivergent disorders, and describes how some people can have extreme reactions to rejection.
Later, I was asked to present this project at the East Coast Game Conference, representing undergraduate research for North Carolina State University. My presentation was titled "Neurodivergent Narratives in Gaming," and is linked below. Assumptions is the continuation of my work with explaining Neurodivergent narratives in games.
